The size of the file is 0.3 Mb, compressed. Purpose: The data set was created to digitally represent the average precipitation of the state of New Mexico between the years of 1931 and 1960. These data are typically used as background data and should be used at scales of 1:500,000 and smaller. The data are intended for use as a general reference to the precipitation isopleths of New Mexico for the years given. Earth Data Analysis Center manually digitized from the NOAA 1:500,000 scale map of the state of New Mexico. Data completeness reflect the content of the source graphic.
